Profile  ( Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jiaxin Pan)

I have been a professor at the University of Kassel since October 2023 and head the information security department in the electrical engineering/computer science department.

I am also an associate professor (part-time) at NTNU in Norway. Before that, I was a postdoc at KIT (Germany) in Dennis Hofheinz's group. In July 2016 I received my doctorate at the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany) under the supervision of Eike Kiltz. My research interests lie in theoretical cryptography, particularly in the provable security of cryptographic schemes and protocols, as well as the development and analysis of security reductions.
