New Paper Published in Advanced Optical Materials
The study presents a dual-ribbon quasi-bound-state-in-the-continuum (quasi-BIC) metasurface for highly sensitive, label-free biosensing. The proposed design combines strong optical resonances with greater tolerance to fabrication imperfections, addressing a key challenge in practical nanophotonic sensor realization. The results demonstrate the potential of quasi-BIC metasurfaces for robust and high-performance biomolecular detection and sensing applications.
The work brings together expertise in nanophotonics, metasurface design, fabrication, and optical characterization, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration for developing next-generation sensing technologies.
Congratulations to Y. Li, E. Lopez, and all coauthors on this publication, and many thanks for the successful collaboration!
