Two New Papers Published on CO₂ Conversion and Sensing
The first study investigates TiVC MXenes as catalysts for the electrochemical conversion of CO₂ into formic acid, using computational modeling to identify their potential catalytic properties. The second paper explores vacancy engineering and lithium functionalization of plumbene for CO₂ sensing, showing how structural defects and functionalization can tune the material's interaction with CO₂. Together, the studies highlight the potential of computational materials design for developing novel materials for CO₂ conversion and detection.
Congratulations to K. Kumar, A. S. Kharb, and all coauthors on these excellent publications and their valuable contributions to this research!
