Research

Our research is concerned with the further development and validation of statistical methods for the analysis of complex psychological data. The research focus of the department will be on the development of statistical methods in the area of regularizing structural equation models and in the area of the analysis of event-correlated potentials with structural equation models. In addition, the application of linear mixed models in the context of experimental psychology will be a research focus. In all research areas, we strive to make developed methods available to other researchers and actively contribute to the development of open-source software.
