Excursion 'Insight into the archive'

During this one-day excursion to the Intermunicipal District Archive of North Hesse, students from the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies will gain insights into the professional fields and work associated with archiving.

In addition to information about the tasks of a public archive and an introduction to the archive information system, excursion participants will have the opportunity to view an archived source and ask their own questions about archiving and the associated professional fields. 

The excursion begins at approx. 9:20 a.m. with the meeting at Kassel Central Station and the joint journey to Bad Hersfeld and ends at approx. 4 p.m. back at Kassel Central Station. Registration is binding!
