Röver Foundation: Promotion of cultural student activities

Material resources for the promotion of cultural student activities at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Kassel from funds of the Barbara and Alfred Röver-Stiftung

Thanks to a donation by Mr. Alfred Röver (Kassel), the Faculty of Humanities has the opportunity to award grants in kind to support cultural student activities at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Kassel.

Student groups and students of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Kassel can apply. Funding is available for theater or music projects, readings, slams, etc. The projects should not be connected to a course, but should be designed and managed autonomously by students. Subsequent funding of projects already completed at the time of application is excluded.

Each application comprises a dossier in the form of a single PDF file. It contains:

  • Letter of application and curriculum vitae in tabular form of the applicant,
  • a brief description with a cost calculation of the project for which funding is requested,
  • a copy of the certificate of enrollment,
  • a statement from an active lecturer in Faculty 02,
  • a statement from the student council of Faculty 02.

Submission of project proposals:

The online application should be sent to the e-mail address dekanat02[at]uni-kassel[dot]de. Each applicant will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The next deadlines for submitting project proposals are

After the respective deadline, the advisory board will meet and decide on the allocation of funds.

Upon receipt, each application is reviewed by the foundation's advisory board, which makes the final decision on the awarding of funding. The "Satzung zur Verleihung des Barbara und Alfred Röver-Stiftung" (Statutes for awarding the Barbara and Alfred Röver-Stiftung) dated 25.11.2015 regulate the procedure.

When realizing a funded cultural project, appropriate reference must be made to the support of the Barbara and Alfred Röver-Stiftung.
