Quality standards for protection concepts in child and youth work published

Together with young people, the SchutzNorm project has researched constructions of normality of violence and sexuality in the contexts of child and youth work in order to provide young people, volunteers and professionals with and through scientific analysis with a further opportunity to supplement and stimulate their everyday "perception". At the same time, however, the discussions about the pedagogical challenge inherent in the constructions of normality are only just beginning. And thus the task of developing protection concepts with young people in the very different arrangements. Based on this, quality standards for protection concepts in child and youth work have been developed.
