Prof. Dr. Anna Growe will start at the Chair of Economics of Urban and Regional Development in the Department of ASL on 01.03.2023.

After studying spatial planning, Anna Growe completed her doctorate at TU Dortmund University. As a post-doc, she worked at the University of Freiburg, where she also completed her habilitation in 2019. From 2015 to 2022, Anna Growe was Junior Professor for Regional Governance at the University of Heidelberg.

Her research interests focus on spatial development in the knowledge economy, governance processes in metropolitan areas and challenges in sustainable spatial development.
