CV  (Paul Knauer (M.Sc.))

Paul Knauer, M.Sc. (he/him), works at the intersection of architectural theory, critical space production and curatorial practice. He studied architecture in Konstanz, Lisbon and, most recently, Braunschweig, where he completed his Master’s degree at the Chair of Theory (GTAS) led by Prof. Dr. Tatjana Schneider. During his studies, he gained experience in participatory processes and the implementation of pioneering uses through his involvement in the CoLiving Campus project. After graduating, he worked on a freelance basis with GTAS, as well as with DOGMA in Brussels.

Since April 2026, he has been working on the KOWOHÄUSER research project within the ARCHITECTURE CITIES ECONOMIES I Department of Urban Regeneration and Project Development at the University of Kassel, building on his critical engagement with the single-family house and the associated culture of living. The project investigates models of collective housing, financing and operation for more socio-ecological single-family houses.
