The Productivity of Common Ownership Models
During the seminar „Common Ownership Models“, we investigated the connection between the spatiality of a certain location with its role as a major asset in the financial market. The students worked on a group investigative research on housing property that Vonovia, the biggest listed real estate company in Germany (and possibly in the world), holds in the city of Kassel. The research shows the performative nature of financial market transposed to the terrain of the city and how rules of the financial game influence our notions of home and more often then not create the architectural forms of housing production.
