Please note: The following information applies exclusively to the 2014 module examination regulations.
In this didactics seminar, you will learn how to plan, implement and reflect on work-based teaching in a skills-oriented manner.
The module with a school focus consists of the weekly seminar and the practical phase at the school.
During the seminar (always on Thursday afternoons/evenings), the didactic basics are refreshed, expanded and placed in a practical teaching context so that you become aware of the subject of work-based learning and its basic principles through practical examples.
At the same time, you will accompany a learning group in the subject of work studies at a school and also take on teaching responsibilities in order to apply the knowledge you have learned in a classroom context, taking into account the didactic and methodological principles of the subject.
The timing of these lessons depends on the respective learning group and unfortunately cannot be communicated in advance.
You will receive all important module information as well as the allocation to the internship schools in advance during the preparatory seminar. The dates of these kick-off events can be found below.
Prerequisites:
In order to be allowed to attend the seminar, the internship semester must be fully completed in all its sub-areas (i.e. fully completed AND entered as passed in Hispos in all sub-areas). This also implies the complete collective certificate. This will be checked in a kick-off event for the seminar by presenting the relevant certificates.
Study and examination performance:
Module 6 is deemed to have been passed if you have regularly and actively participated in the seminar events and lessons, have carried out at least two teaching experiments according to subject-specific didactic and subject-specific methodological principles, including a reflection discussion, and have submitted a written, academic assignment that addresses the required content.
Registration:
Registration takes place in advance (previous semesters) via HisPos. All important information can be found on the website of the Department of Practical School Studies.
