Entrepreneurial thinking and action as a key competence for more innovation, knowledge-based start-ups and employability

In the second half of 2019, the Department of Entrepreneurship Education at the University of Kassel launched the PACE project (la pensée et l'action entrepreneuriales ont le but d'augmenter la capacité des emplois) together with the Research Center for Entrepreneurial Thought and Action (Fludh) and the Universities of Tunis El Manar and Sousse.

The aim of the project is to increase the employability of graduates and to increase the number of knowledge-based start-ups at the Tunisian partner universities of Sousse and Tunis El Manar. Planning workshop

From September 9-14, 2019, a planning workshop was held in the Science Park at the University of Kassel, where the guests from the two Tunisian universities worked intensively on the plan to integrate and adapt the strategies and measures.

In addition to the work in the workshop, the Tunisian guests were also offered a cultural supporting program with a visit to the Bergpark and the city museum, which met with a lot of positive feedback. The next step is now to refine the planning at the respective universities in coordination with the project team in Kassel and to begin the first measures.
