Dr. Thomas Cauthorn received the Deutsche Bundesbank Special Prize for his dissertation entitled “On the Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy.” He was a research assistant in the Sustainable Finance department until July 2025 and now teaches and conducts research as an assistant professor at the University of Mannheim in the Department of Financial Markets and Financial Institutions.
