With a decision by the Presidential Board on 16.02.2026, the Head of the Department of Vocational and Business Education and IBB member, Prof. Dr. Michael Goller, was appointed to the Board of Directors of INCHER at the University of Kassel this week. The department is delighted about Prof. Goller's new role and the associated research and networking prospects.

INCHER sees itself as "... a research institution of the University of Kassel. Here, scientists conduct research on questions of higher education and studies as well as on topics at the interfaces of higher education research to related research areas such as science, organization and innovation research" (see homepage). There are currently four strategic research topics at INCHER: (a) Multiple competitive dynamics in higher education and science, (b) Higher education and the multiple dimensions of inequality and diversity, (c) Science and careers in changing labor markets and qualification requirements, and (d) Knowledge transfer and the social legitimacy of higher education and science.
