From 16 June to 19 June, employees of our unit travelled to Bergen in Norway in order to participate in the annual conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. Overall, the University of Kassel was represented by 13 researchers from the Dannenberg, Wetzel and Ziegler chairs. Our team presented current research on the relationship between environmental behavior and reputation (Astrid Dannenberg), on preferences for monitoring systems of fishers in Uganda and Kenya (Pia Pico), on the role of learning and habit for environmentally friendly food choice (Charlotte Klatt), and on the role of price incentives for environmentally friendly food choice (Eva Weingärtner). All participants enjoyed the opportunity for professional exchange with European and non-European colleagues. Towards the end, even the rain stopped, allowing us to take a group picture (Astrid Dannenberg und Anja Köbrich León are missing).
