The 31st Doctoral Seminar on IT, Service, Innovation and Collaboration (WISIC) took place at the University of St. Gallen from May 11 to 13, 2026.

Doctoral candidates and researchers from the Department of Information Systems and Information Systems and Systems Development at the University of Kassel and the Institute of Information Systems at the University of St. Gallen took part in the seminar.

The event focused on scientific exchange on current research topics from the fields of information systems, digitalization, innovation and collaboration. The aim of the seminar was to further develop dissertation projects through constructive feedback and interdisciplinary discussions.

Participants presented their research work in various formats, including proposals, journal papers, idea talks and short pitches. The exchange with Professors, postdocs and colleagues offered a wide range of perspectives for further research and promoted cross-location collaboration.

In addition to the professional program, the seminar offered opportunities for personal exchange and networking, including a poster session, joint evening events and a hike around St. Gallen.
