The Controlling department, led by Prof. Dr. P. Nevries, focuses on the performance-oriented design of controlling tools and management systems (Management Control Systems, MCS). Prof. Nevries and his team focus on the design of MCS and their impact on democracy, AI usage and AI success, and employee satisfaction, as well as factors influencing their design (e.g., gender differences). Research is conducted in collaboration with medium-sized and large companies to demonstrate the immediate practical benefits.
