The 2020 annual report of the Department of Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister) at the University of Kassel has recently been published. It provides insights into the research, teaching and other activities of the department, which can look back on another very successful year in 2020. One particular highlight was Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister receiving the "AIS Award for Outstanding Contribution to IS Education" from the Association for Information System at the International Conference on Information Systems(ICIS) 2020. Another highlight was the excellent performance in the Business Administration Researcher Ranking, which was published in December 2020. Other highlights include the newly acquired or extended research projects - funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research(BMBF) and the German Research Foundation(DFG), among others - with corresponding third-party funding, the presence at all relevant national and international business informatics conferences and a total of 50 publications.
