Last week, Prof. Dr. Michael Goller had the pleasure of visiting Prof. Dr. David Gijbels, Prof. Dr. Piet Van den Bossche and other researchers (including Gilles Obourdin and Hilde Van Dyck) at the Department of Training and Education Sciences at the University of Antwerp. The brief visit included discussions about current research projects focusing on eye tracking, professional agency, product development and digitalization, as well as the development of research and teaching collaborations. In addition, Prof. Goller gave a lecture on "Workplace Learning and Digital Transformation" for the Master's students there and took part in a Belgian disputation.

At the beginning of this week, Prof. Goller visited the University of Mannheim, in particular Prof. Dr. Andreas Rausch and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Seifried and their teams (including Manuel Böhm, Sophia Gentner, Christian Mayer and Robert Mühldorfer) from the field of business education (Area Economic and Business Education of the Faculty of Business Administration). In addition to current research projects, the discussions focused primarily on exploring mobile eye-tracking technology for researching professional phenomena in dual training and the use of virtual reality (VR) to develop didactic skills in business education. The use of diary studies as a research method was also discussed further.
