An anthology entitled "Technologiegestützte Dienstleistungsinnovation in der Gesundheitswirtschaft" by Karen A. Shire and Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister (ed.) has been published.

Brief description:
Demographic change is opening up a wide range of applications and a growing market for novel combinations of service offerings and innovative technologies in the healthcare sector. However, concepts and empirical knowledge for the design of such technology-supported service innovations are still lacking. In this anthology, various approaches and methods of user-centered technology development and service design are presented and the experience and knowledge gained - from needs assessment to prototype piloting of technology-supported services - are reflected upon and illustrated with concrete application examples.
