Matthias Söllner successfully defended his dissertation on "Deriving Trust Supporting Components for Ubiquitous Information Systems" today, Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
Matthias has been working at the Department of Information Systems since December 2008 and wrote his dissertation as part of the LOEWE-funded interdisciplinary research project "Designing technical-social networking in situational ubiquitous systems (VENUS)". In his dissertation, he focused on what human trust in ubiquitous information systems means, what influences it and how this knowledge can be systematically used to develop more trustworthy ubiquitous information systems.
