The team from the Department of Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister) at the University of Kassel was once again strongly represented at this year's ICIS fromDecember 10-13, 2017 in Seoul, South Korea. In the run-up to the conference, numerous track submissions were accepted from researchers in the department, giving the Leimeister team plenty of opportunities to present their own research topics and exchange ideas with researchers from all over the world. The International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) is an A-rated conference (VHB-Jourqual 3) and the most important conference in the field of information systems worldwide. The venue for this conference rotates annually between the continents; this year's event took place in Seoul/South Korea. The conference center was located in the Gangnam district of Seoul, which, in addition to its strong economic importance for Asia and South Korea, also gained worldwide fame through the song by the artist "Psy".
