The internal kick-off of the Komp-HI project took place today. The project is funded by the BMBF as part of the federal-state initiative "AI in higher education". In the project, we are working on the promotion of technical and interdisciplinary skills through the socio-technical design of hybrid intelligence systems.

Through the use of AI, the project aims to support learners in building and developing important additional skills, such as empathy and digital media skills, in parallel with subject-specific content. The project is based on interdisciplinary collaboration between the departments of Information Systems and Systems Development (Prof. Dr. Matthias Söllner, project coordinator), Developmental Psychology (Prof. Dr. Mirjam Ebersbach), Public Law, IT Law & Environmental Law (Prof. Dr. Gerrit Hornung), Business Informatics (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister), General Psychology (Prof. Dr. Ralf Rummer) and the Dean of Studies of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Prof. Dr. Hartmut Hetzler).
