Kassel/Nashville - The Department of Information Systems and Systems Engineering (WISE) at the University of Kassel will be represented at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference will take place from December 14 to 17, 2025 under the theme "Achieving Digital Integration in the Age of AI" and is one of the world's most important conferences for the information systems community.

In the IS Design, Development, and Project Management track, the WISE team will present a full paper entitled "Intelligent Tutoring for Law Courses: Design and Evaluation of an LLM-based System". The presentation will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 08:15 to 09:45 (CST) in the session IS Design, Development, and Project Management 4 (Room Music Row 4). In the paper, the authors Florian Weber, Seyed Parsa Neshaei, Thiemo Wambsganß and Prof. Dr. Matthias Söllner will present the AI-supported tutoring system CaseCoach, which provides students with conversational support when working on complex legal case studies. The article is available via the AIS eLibrary.

In addition, doctoral student Sophia Meywirth was selected to participate in the ICIS 2025 Doctoral Consortium. The consortium is considered one of the most renowned platforms for young researchers in the field of information systems. In a highly competitive selection process with over 80 international applications, 40 participants were chosen.

The WISE team is looking forward to the professional exchange with the international research community and to stimulating discussions during ICIS 2025 in Nashville.
