Recognition in the FACT cluster (Finance-Accounting-Controlling-Taxation)

I would like to have an external achievement recognized, what can I do?

Please familiarize yourself with the recognition process first. Check which achievements are worthy of recognition and who your contact persons are for the recognition process. Who is responsible for recognizing credits earned abroad?

This can be found in the respective information sheets sorted by degree program. As a representative of the Bachelor's degree program in Economics PO 2020, my responsibility extends to

• Accounting
• Financial management
• Decision-oriented corporate accounting
• All compulsory and elective modules in specialization 2 (FACT)

I would like to spend a semester abroad soon - what do I need?

If you are planning to spend a semester abroad at a foreign university and want to make sure that the planned courses are worthy of recognition, you will need the form for theRecommendation of achievements abroadPlease complete this form as independently as possible. Please note that under "Module name" you do not enter the name of the respective Kassel course, but the name of the underlying module. If you would like to have "Corporate Finance" recognized abroad, do not enter "Corporate Finance" here, but rather, for example, "Focus 2/FACT - Elective" (module title).

You must complete this form separately for each course abroad. As soon as you have done this, send the completed form (including the description of the content of the external courses) to B.Lehnert[at]uni-kassel[dot]de

I have already spent a semester abroad - what can I do?

If you have already spent a semester abroad, there are three options:

1) Do you already have a signed recommendation for recognition? Fill out the followingform for recognitionand send it to: B.Lehnert[at]uni-kassel[dot]de

2) You already have a signed recommendation for recognition, but there have been changes to the courses abroad? Please also complete the form mentioned under 1). However, please also send the course description of the new courses.

3) You did not receive a signed recommendation for recognition before the start of the semester abroad? Please also complete the form mentioned under 1). However, please also send the course description of the new courses.

I come from another university and would like to have various examinations recognized at the University of Kassel.

To do this, please note which of the courses you have already completed fall within the FACT cluster. For these, please send a course/module description, your certificate and the completedapplication for recognition to: B.Lehnert[at]uni-kassel[dot]de.
