I am looking for a research assistant to support me in research and teaching. The position is initially limited to two years (qualification position according to § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). Further employment is sought. The possibility of a doctorate is given and is actively encouraged by the head of the department. Part-time employment is possible on request. You should be enthusiastic about conducting relevant and high-quality research in the field of building and calibrating user trust in AI-based information systems.

The WISE department conducts interdisciplinary research on the socio-technical design of information systems. One focus is on research into human-AI collaboration / hybrid intelligence in the context of digital learning innovations. Concrete research directions can be innovative approaches to promote data and AI literacy or to build metacognition in human-AI collaboration.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated person who wants to conduct high-quality research in an interdisciplinary environment and actively shape our young field. The position offers the possibility of mobile working with a high degree of flexibility and personal responsibility.

We are particularly looking for people with skills in the fields of (learning) psychology and/or educational science, as the technical implementation will be carried out in collaboration with a computer scientist in the department.
