Matthias Söllner has been awarded as one of the Best Conference Associate Editors of the renowned European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS).

Furthermore, the paper "Towards the Design of a Student-Centered Question-Answering System in Educational Settings" by Thiemo Wambsganss, Leonie Haas (both University of St. Gallen) and Matthias Söllner was presented at ECIS.

ECIS is the most important European conference in Information Systems and conference papers are ranked as B according to VHB JourQual 3. This year's theme was "Human Values Crisis in a Digitizing World". Instead of being held in Morocco as planned, the conference was held in virtual format.

Congratulations also go to researchers from the Institute of Information Systems at the University of St.Gallen (IWI-HSG), in particular to Ivo Blohm who was also recognized as one of the Best Conference Associate Editors and to the author team Marius Schmid, Kazem Haki, Hüseyin Tanriverdi, Stephan Aier and Robert Winter who won the Best Paper Award.
