An article about the pilot project of the University of Kassel and the Hessian State Chancellery on digital citizen participation was published in the HNA on 08.07.2021.

Via the digital platform "(M)ein Projekt für alle, alle für (m)ein Projekt!" citizens in participating municipalities can submit their own proposals and projects. These can be viewed, shared, discussed and evaluated, for example. It is also possible to upload images and videos via the portal. And at any time - regardless of deadlines.

The service was developed by the Department of Information Systems at the University of Kassel (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister). Project manager Dr. Christoph Peters sees the online forum as a supplement to traditional tools - especially in times of corona. The pandemic has highlighted the need for digital offerings to facilitate dialog.
