Sustainable Consumption Communities (SuCoCom) can make an important contribution to the transformation towards greater ecological and social sustainability of the economy and society. However, communities of this kind usually lead a niche existence. In order to break out of this niche and integrate as many consumers as possible into such communities, they need to be accepted by the population.
