From July 23 to 24, 2025, the JVET Summer School for young female VET researchers took place at St. Catherine's College in Oxford, UK. The event offered a variety of opportunities to discuss current challenges in vocational education and training, inspiring impulses from international experts and a networking and discussion forum for young researchers.

In addition to the summer school, our project team member Verena Pfeiffer also took part in the 16th International JVET Conference (July 24-26, 2025, Oxford), where developments in vocational education and training were reflected on from a global and practical perspective under the motto "Journeys and Destinations".

The BWP team took part in the conference with the presentation "Digital work behavior in vocational education: Teachers' non-teaching activities in the digital age". The focus here was on the diverse digital forms of work and organization of teachers beyond the classroom - such as digital collaboration, feedback processes, material development and administrative activities - as well as their significance for vocational education and training practice in the face of advancing digitalization.

The event specifically promoted international exchange and provided numerous impulses that will flow directly into research and practice.
