WuM article on "legally compliant design of artificial intelligence systems" published

An article by Ernestine Dickhaut, Andreas Janson and Jan Marco Leimeister was published in the journal Wirtschaftsinformatik und Management (WuM) on March 31, 2020. The article deals with the interdisciplinary design of AI systems. It focuses in particular on the importance of law and service quality in the system development process. Legal aspects are often seen by system developers as a "necessary evil", but they must be addressed to the minimum extent permitted in order for products to be legally marketed. Requirements and design patterns have been developed to counteract this problem. They represent an opportunity for interdisciplinary and socio-technical system development.
