Prof. Dr. Leimeister honored with "AIS Award for Outstanding Contribution to IS Education

The Association for Information Systems (AIS), the world association for business informatics/information systems, has honored Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister with the "AIS Award for Outstanding Contribution to IS Education".

During this year's International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister was awarded the "AIS Award for Outstanding Contribution to IS Education" for his contributions to teaching and education in Business Informatics/Information Systems.

The award specifically recognizes individuals who have made continuous contributions to education, contributed to the development of teaching in the subject of Information Systems, and furthermore have made continuous research contributions dedicated to the subject of teaching in Information Systems.

This year, the conference was held virtually from Dec. 14 to Dec. 16, 2020, and the award was presented by AIS President Brian Fitzgerald.
