Scientific support for the Department of Business Informatics at the University of Kassel in a location study by the IHK Kassel-Marburg

Inspired by a thematically similar survey conducted by the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce in 2014 on the importance of location factors, the Kassel-Marburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce launched a survey of around 8,400 members. What importance is attached to North Hesse as a business location? What challenges do companies in the region face and what impact has coronavirus had on the attractiveness of North Hesse as a business location?

The location analysis shows exciting aspects of North Hesse as a location from a company perspective and offers insights into the factors of transport, infrastructure, location costs/financing, workforce and qualifications, climate protection/environment and future viability.

The Department of Business Informatics provided scientific support for this project and assisted the IHK in collecting and analyzing the data.
