Successful disputation of Matthias Billert

On Thursday, September 8, 2022, the disputation of Matthias Billert took place at the Department of Information Systems University of Kassel | Information Systems University of Kassel. In addition to Prof. Jan Marco Leimeister and the examination board, colleagues, family and friends were also present. Mr. Billert successfully defended his dissertation "Leveraging Digital Co-Creation Platforms for the Systematic Creation of High-Quality Contributions in the Public and Private Sector".
In it, he presents different levels of participation and components of a service system as a co-creation system. On the other hand, he designs and evaluates a digital collaborative citizen participation platform for the co-creation of citizen-initiated services in the public sector, a learning and qualification platform in the private sector and develops suitable service measurement models for determining quality.

Professor Jan Marco Leimeister and the examination committee led by Professor Matthias Söllner, Junior Professor Sofia Schöbel and Professor Klusmeyer warmly congratulated Matthias Billert following his successful disputation. Professor Leimeister presented him with a doctoral hat individually designed by the academic staff of the department, as is tradition at the chair. The successful defense was followed by a small drink. Important milestones with regard to the doctorate were acknowledged.
