Department of Information Systems invites you to the event "Sustainably Designing Data-Oriented Value Creation

On June 20, 2023, the major conference of the BMBF funding guideline "Internet-based Services" will take place in Kassel. Under the motto "Shaping data-oriented value creation sustainably" and under the organization of the Department of Information Systems at the University of Kassel around Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister and PD Dr. Christoph Peters, the participants will discuss the future of data-oriented value creation and its sustainable design.

The highlights include:

• Pioneers will present best practices, give impulses and share their experiences - concentrated in the focus areas of data and technology excellence as well as sustainability
• The 13 projects of the BMBF funding guideline "Internet-based services" will present the project results they have achieved and the solutions they have developed - in the form of pitches and an exhibition
• We offer space to get to know and exchange expertise and perspectives of all stakeholders needed for the design of sustainable innovation ecosystems for data-oriented value creation and corresponding transfer, including representatives of corporations, SMEs and start-ups, social partners, transfer institutions, etc.
• We will discuss the future of service research in times of data-oriented value creation
• After the event in the Campus Center, there will be the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the highlights of the last documenta exhibitions, and a closing ceremony including an award ceremony in the Orangerie will round off the day.

The closing conference consists of two parts. Part 1, the closing conference at the Campus Center of the University of Kassel, starts at 11:00 and ends at 17:00. There will be keynotes, highlights from three years of research, workshops and a panel discussion on the future of service research. Part 2, the supporting program and the closing ceremony in the Orangerie, starts at 5:45 pm with a short guided tour through the highlights of the last documenta exhibitions. The evening event will take place from 18:30.
