New study provides figures on the status and future of the energy transition in North Hesse

The "Barometer of the Energy Transition for Northern Hesse" examines the current status of the expansion of renewable energies in the region. It sheds light on developments since 2000 and forecasts the necessary regional expansion up to 2045. In addition to electricity generation, electricity consumption is also analyzed at district level. An accompanying web app, available at www.energiewende-nordhessen.de, allows users to view and compare the results for individual districts.
