WISE research among the top 10% of the most-read publications in 2024

Two research papers by the WISE team at the University of Kassel have been recognized as top 10% most-read publications of 2024 in their respective journals.

The publication "Enhancing legal writing skills: The impact of formative feedback in a hybrid intelligence learning environment" by Florian Weber, Thiemo Wambsganss and Matthias Söllner was recognized as one of the top 10% most read articles of 2024 in the British Journal of Educational Technology.

The research examines how formative AI-based feedback in a hybrid intelligence learning environment helps students to write more structured and persuasive legal texts. The results show that the combination of human expertise and AI-supported feedback can promote self-regulated learning and students' self-efficacy.

In addition, the publication "Employee acceptance of digital transformation strategies: A paradox perspective" by Sascha P. Klein, Patrick Spieth and Matthias Söllner in the Journal of Product Innovation Management was also ranked among the top 10% most read articles of 2024.

The study examines how employees perceive and accept digital transformation strategies. In particular, the results highlight the importance of a so-called "paradox mindset" for successfully dealing with organizational change and digital innovation processes.

Both publications were funded as part of the Wiley-DEAL agreement with the University of Kassel and underline the international visibility of the WISE team's research in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and information systems-based education.
