Competition for students "Off to your own pad - Next Generation"

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Association of Private Building Societies has extended the registration deadline for the university competition "Off to your own pad - Next Generation".

Students can now register until May 15, 2026.

The competition is looking for creative ideas relating to housing, retirement planning and the question of what the path to your first apartment or home can look like today.

The competition is aimed at students from all disciplines. It is particularly suitable for students from the fields of communication, marketing, media, design, business, real estate management, urban development, social sciences or related courses of study.

Students can take part individually or in teams of up to five people. The first phase is initially about a concept - for example as a presentation, video idea or structured document. A finished video or a fully produced campaign is expressly not required at the start.

The most important key points:

• New registration deadline: May 15, 2026
• Participation for students of all disciplines
• Individuals or teams of up to five people
• Concept submission: June 12, 2026
• Production budget for selected teams: up to 2,500 euros
• Final on August 27, 2026 in Berlin
• Prizes: 5,000 euros, 2,000 euros and 1,000 euros
