Workshop: "Branching Scenarios in Business Teacher Education"

@Business Education with a Focus on Vocational Teaching and Learning

On August 27, 2026, the first regional forum on media education at the University of Kassel will take place at the Campus Center—a mix of workshops, discussions, and ideas exploring the topic of “digital learning environments.” Jenny Raabe will present on the topic “Branching Scenarios in Business Teacher Education.”

Branching scenarios are digital learning situations with interactive options for classroom use. They enable the presentation of authentic real-world situations and, in the face of complex problems, require learners to make independent decisions. In this professional development workshop, teachers will gain basic knowledge on how to use branching scenarios in the classroom and access to existing scenarios in the field of business and administration. In addition, participants will receive an introduction to creating their own scenarios using the H5P tool. A vocational education background is not required to understand the technical functioning of H5P.
