Introductory Mathematics Course (FB 07 - Economics and Business Administration) in Fall 2026!

Welcome to the “Introductory Mathematics Course (FB 07 – Economics)” offered by the Department of Economics (FB 07) in the fall of 2026!

The Introductory Mathematics Course (FB 07 - Wiwi) (Fall 2026) will take place from September 21 (Mon) through October 8, 2025 (Thu).

Please note: The Department of Economics (FB 07) offers the “Preparatory Course in Mathematics (FB 07 – Wiwi),” a mathematics preparatory course designed for most first-year students in economics programs. The “Preparatory Course in Mathematics (FB 07 – Wiwi)” is separate from the preparatory mathematics courses offered by the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FB 10).

Schedule

The preparatory course will take place from September 21, 2026 (Mon) through October 8, 2026 (Thu), always Monday through Thursday. The following schedule is planned:

10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Lecture (Part I) in Lecture Hall I at Diagonale 1

11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Short break

12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Lecture (Part II) in Lecture Hall I at Diagonale 1

1:30–2:30 p.m.: Long lunch break

2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.: “Afternoon program”
