This year's traditional summer party of the Department of Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister) at the University of Kassel took place on July 27, 2017. As documenta 14 is also being held in Kassel this year, the department combined this summer party with a visit to the world's most important exhibition series for contemporary art. In addition to a discussion including an explanation of the overall concept of this year's documenta in the Press Center, the participants visited the exhibition in the Neue Galerie (Neue Post) and the "Parthenon of Books". In the evening, the actual summer party followed in a boathouse on the Fulda in the Karlsaue parkland. Over drinks and a barbecue, the Chair's staff, alumni and student assistants reviewed the first half of 2017 in a relaxed atmosphere.
