20th WISIC doctoral workshop from September 14-16, 2020 in St. Ottilien (near Munich)
From September 14 to 16, 2020, the 20th Doctoral Workshop on IT, Service, Innovation and Collaboration(WISIC) of the Departments of Information Systems and Information Systems & Systems Development at the University of Kassel and the Institute of Information Systems at the University of St.Gallen took place under the direction of Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister. Over the course of the doctoral workshop, 18 doctoral candidates from both universities presented their respective topics in different formats, depending on their doctoral progress and status: Relevance Pitch, Idea Presentation, Proposal and Journal Paper Project. In addition, several post-doctoral students also gave Publication Talks this time. The aim of this workshop is to advance the respective dissertation project through intensive discussions with other doctoral candidates as well as professors and post-docs. In addition, the feedback gained in this workshop is intended to provide new ideas and impetus for your own dissertation project and to establish peer groups through links to the topics of other participants.
The topics of the WISIC participants once again covered a wide range of research areas at the Chair. As is now a good tradition, joint social activities also took place where possible due to the pandemic.
