Concept

In this room, a resourceful as well as an atmospheric environment is created that enables innovative learning concepts. The room is equipped with such elements that enable and encourage creative and solution-oriented thinking and acting. A learning landscape is created that offers students a creative unfolding of their potential, while at the same time allowing for the accompanying assurance of intermediate and learning outcomes.

The teaching/learning arrangements planned in this space live from the self-determined and organized (thinking) work of the participating students on and in scenarios developed by the lecturers. In the context of didactic action, three levels of self-determination can be defined:

Level 1 of free movement: All tables and chairs are of such light weight that they can be flexibly adjusted by the students themselves at any time to their current learning situation.

Level 2 of free approach and use of appropriate media: Students usually have their own notebooks, which they bring to the event.  Work results of the group can be attached and displayed via a monitor (which can be attached to any height-adjustable, movable table). Also available are height-adjustable standing seats.

Stage 3 of individually designed presentation: Depending on the problem and individual preferences, the work events of individuals or groups can be done with metaplan cards or flipchart paper on soft walls or projected onto a projection screen via the beamer with smartboard function. A combination of presentation elements is also possible. Three mobile stage elements allow students to clearly demarcate the presentation space, if desired, and to set up such a slightly elevated space.
