Students Present Sustainable Solutions: Turning Food Waste into Value with Black Soldier Fly Larvae
As part of the Sustainable Marketing seminar at the University of Kassel, students have developed the Larvae Project, an innovative initiative exploring how Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) can contribute to a more circular and sustainable food system.
The project investigates the potential of BSFL to transform food waste into valuable resources, such as sustainable protein and nutrient-rich fertilizer. By combining principles of the circular economy with sustainable marketing approaches, the student team highlights how innovative solutions can help address environmental challenges and promote more resource-efficient consumption and production patterns.
Join us for the final Presentation & Exhibition, where the students will showcase their project findings, creative concepts, and insights into the role of Black Soldier Fly Larvae in sustainable food waste management.
