Abstract:
I will introduce a novel method for approximating trapezoidal fuzzy number sets using smoothing radial basis functions (RBFs). This approach defines a new type of fuzzy RBFs, known as fuzzy smoothing radial basis functions under tension, and employs various error and similarity measures to evaluate the quality of the approximations. I will explain how these functions are constructed from given fuzzy data and present some theoretical convergence results. The presentation will also include two-dimensional examples to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method under different configurations.
