Lauren Schnor

Lauren Schnor has been working as a research assistant in the research group Social-Ecological Interactions in Agricultural Systems at the University of Kassel since May 2023. She completed the Master's programme Sustainable International Agriculture at the Universities of Kassel and Göttingen.

As part of the Citizen Science project VielFalterGarten of the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) in Leipzig, she studied butterfly species richness and diversity along an urbanisation gradient for her Master’s thesis.

Lauren's research interests lie in the area of biocultural diversity and how young people perceive biodiversity, nature and landscape around them.
