Biographical Note
Sandra Almassri is a PhD student at the Section of International Agricultural Policy and Environmental Governance.
Her research comparatively examines how the EU Organic Regulation (2018/848) and agroecology after the 2014 FAO symposium are translated and reinterpreted in Tunisia and Morocco, drawing on policy translation theory.
She holds a Master's degree from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, where her studies focused on European Union policies, EU foreign policy, European integration, and governance.
Her work contributes to broader discussions on sustainable agriculture in the Global South, agroeconomy, and the power dynamics shaping North-South relations within agri-food systems.
