As part of the "15th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications" in Banff (22-25.06.2015), Mr. Michael Burger will present current research results in the field of efficient numerical methods for the description of hierarchically structured, graphene-based nanostructures. The results were achieved within the framework of a research cooperation between the Department of Structural Analysis and the Department of Scientific Computing (TU Darmstadt). The title of the presentation is 'Exploiting Structural Properties During Carbon Nanotube Simulation'.
