E certificate

The E-certificate of the DBV is a prerequisite for later employment as head and deputy head of building material testing laboratories, for persons responsible for the quality assurance of concrete - e.g. as head or deputy head of building material laboratories of construction companies, of ready-mixed concrete plants of the building material supervision etc.. Proof that the training required for the E-certificate has been successfully completed is generally also an additional positive criterion when hiring civil engineers working in other fields. 

 The E-certificate is divided into two parts:

 1. In the so-called "theoretical part", all necessary theoretical knowledge about concrete, its raw materials, production and proper application is imparted.

 2. The issuance of the E-certificate also requires at least 5 years of professional activity in which the production and/or processing of concrete should have played a significant role.
