Are you lacking motivation to study and don't know why?

Do you want to talk about a problem in confidence and are looking for solutions?

Do you want to stop procrastinating and are looking for ways to change your study habits?

In our discussions, we work together to find individual solutions for your concerns. In doing so, we try to uncover the causes of disruptive thought and action patterns and provide targeted impetus for personal development and overcoming challenges. To do this, we usually accompany you over a longer period of several appointments. For example, we support you with decision-making or organizational problems, develop suitable strategies with you for effective time and stress management or work on problems such as exam anxiety and study doubts.

The important thing is that you determine the goal and pace of these discussions. We offer you a protected space in which everything discussed is treated in strict confidence.

Coaching process

Introductory meeting to clarify the issue (30 - 45 min).
Depending on the issue, several coaching sessions at suitable intervals (approx. 60 min. each).

The Federal Training Assistance Grant (BAföG) is an important source of income for many of our students and provides financial security during their studies. General information, formalities, deadlines and questions about your own BAföG application can be clarified directly with the Student Services Advice Center (see link below). In addition, after the 3rd or 4th semester, proof of a certain number of credits and passed examinations must be provided in order to continue receiving BAföG funding. The department's BAföG officer, Dr. Rainer Fletling, is responsible for issuing this proof and can be contacted by email if required.

Further information on BAföG counseling at the Studierendenwerk and on the subject of student financing can be found at: https://www.studierendenwerk-kassel.de/geld/bafoeg-allgemein/bafoeg-antrag-und-beratung
